The Seasons is a project by Most Monti Studio, a young architectural firm based in Dakar. The Seasons is a complex villa built during covid19 in the record time of 23 months in Conakry, the capital of Guinea.
The Seasons lives this duality: from the entrance, we face a very closed house which therefore transmits the level of intimacy. On the other hand, on the sea side there are large windows, so a villa completely open and in relation with nature but this is the specific case of the sea. A house on which, even if it is completely exposed with glazing, we find this intimacy typical of African culture.
MOST has chosen to take this path of really having different aesthetics, different facades in the same project, because they conceive architecture in this way, they design an architecture that like to discover step by step, space by space.
